Practicing at Work and Home

  • Forget everything you know about meditation...you don't need to think about whether you're doing it 'right'.
  • Formal practice: Do the body awareness meditation at least 3 times or more before the next class (15 minutes). Decide when you're going to do this. 
  • Informal practice: Choose one activity you do at least once a day, and do it with awareness. For example, throughout the day every time you...walk down the hall at work...hear a phone ring...eat dinner...shave...stop at a red light...wait for a train...floss your teeth...Decide!
